Tommy Clough was with the Artillery Regiment attached to the Gloucestershire Regiment who fought at The Battle of Imjin River, Korea, April 1951, where he was taken prisoner. He didn’t return home until October 1953. He was one of the last 8 veterans who were present for The Final Roll Call reunion at the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum in October 2023. His story, along with 9 other veterans who fought at the battle, has been published in the book “Final Roll Call”.
This portrait was exhibited at the Royal Portrait Society Annual Exhibition at The Mall Galleries, London, in May 2024, an is now in the artist’s private collection
