“In 2006 I was invited by Comic Relief to go on a Sport Relief Tour to India to help highlight the amazing work that goes on and the lives that are changed by the millions raised each year by Sport and Comic Relief. It was the most moving and amazing tour that I have ever been on. A humbling experience that will stay with me for ever. The Tour ended with a match at the world famous Braebourne Stadium in Mumbai, between us ‘The Sport relief Red Socks XII’ against India’s ‘Bollywod XIII’. That’s presenter Chris Evans running up to bowl! Still haven’t worked out why they were allowed more players than us?”
