Ken Fisher

Gloucestershire Regiment. Veteran of The Battle of Imjin River, Korea 1951 where he was taken prisoner and held in a Chinese Prisoner of War camp for 2 years.  He was one of the last 8 survivors from the Gloucestershire Regiment who were present at the Final Roll Call in Gloucester, October 2023.  His story, along with 9 other veterans who fought at the battle, has been published in the book “Final Roll Call”

The original portrait was exhibited at the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum and is now in the artists collection.
